Which hotels charge for parking and how much is listed on the Hotels page

No, there is not a shuttle between the hotels and the convention center.  The Embassy is connected to the facility by walkways and the other hotels are a short walk away.

We will indicate the status of hotel room availability as it changes once reservations open February 1st, 2027.

Pre-Registration saves you $10 over the Walk-In rate ($55 versus $65), and gives you the opportunity to pre-order convention merchandise like T-shirts in the sizes you want without having to worry about whether your desired sizes are still available. It also lets you register for paid Workshops and any tours we will be offering.

Yes, you can. Registration requires membership in the IPMS, and you can join same-day as well.

Day passes are $15/day. A Day Pass gets you access to the Vendor Room, the Contest Room, and lets you enter a display at Tiger Meet. Day Rate attendees cannot attend Tours, Seminars or Workshops, or enter the Model Contest.

Closes to Vendors and the Public at 4:00 p.m. Saturday.

The final vendor map will be available once tables sell out or the day before the convention opens, whichever comes first.

The system is intuitive and there are drop-down menus that should make registering fairly simple for most.  If you have questions, there will be staff on-site to assist during the convention.

Yes, you must be a member to participate in the contest, however you can both join IPMS and register online at myipmsusa.org, or in person once the convention opens.

Yes.  We have a Tiger Meet where individuals or groups can display their models.  Contact Tiger Meet Coordinator Chris Hines at tigermeet2027nats@gmail.com if you need to reserve space.

You do not have to be a member of IPMS/USA to participate in Tiger Meet, but you will need to pay for a Day Pass for the days your models will be on display.

They will be posted under the Contest tab of the website once they are finalized.

The special categories and their criteria will be listed under the Contest tab.  There are checkboxes on the registration form to indicate you want your model to be considered for one or more of those categories.

All models must be registered and in the contest room by noon Friday.

Models cannot be removed from the contest room until after the awards ceremony Saturday evening.  If you need to remove your model before that, please let us know when you register and we can make arrangements.

You can under exceptional circumstances and by pre-arrangement with the contest coordinator.  Please let us know as soon as possible that you need to leave early.

No. You can register when you arrive. Registration is done online and we have computers and people to assist you on location.

These can all be found under the Contest tab on the Convention homepage. Model registration should be open on April 1st. The final contest category list should be ready by the end of January, but that is a function of the National Contest Committee and is not under control by the host chapter

No. The convention closes Saturday night after the awards ceremony. The Model room will be closed from Saturday afternoon until after the conclusion of the awards ceremony. Any models left after the contest closes Saturday night will be disposed of. IPMS/USA and the host chapter are not responsible for any models left on the tables after the contest closes, and will not ship them home for you. If you have to withdraw your model before the awards ceremony, please talk to someone in the Model room and coordinate with them before you remove your model. If you withdraw early, IPMS/USA and the host chapter will not guarantee that you will receive any award you have earned.

The paid events are available when you register for the convention.

The paid workshop list will be finalized when pre-registration opens (March 1st). 

The seminar list will be finalized when the convention opens.
