General Motors\nbuilt 12 Futurliners\, out of which four are in unknown hands. At least\n3 of the remaining 8\, inclu ding No. 10\, are restored to their original\ncondition.\n\nIntroduced by General Motors for its Parade of Progress in the 1940s\nand 1950s\, the Fu tureliner featured a striking\, streamlined Art Deco\nbody\, massive chrom e grille\, and a futuristic bubble cockpit.
